This is the most versatile saucepan I own. It's great for everything from old-fashioned oatmeal and steel-cut oats to delicate sauces when used with a simmer plate on a gas range. Easy to clean inside and out. Its shape also makes it pretty good for reductions, so it can take the place of a Windsor pan (which I no longer bother to use). So if you want one medium-size multipurpose sauce pain, yo uwon't go wrong with this one!
